From the interview, I realized there are many differences between China and Ukraine. We have different culture, language and national characteristics.
Cultural background & Religious beliefs
My interview partner is my roommate, Mariya. She comes from Ukraine. Ukraine is located in the eastern part of Europe. In her country, people speak Ukrainian; most of Ukrainians also speak Russian. In peacetime, they have a national dish, Borsch and Salo. She really likes these two kinds of food. The weather in her country is cold in winter and hot in summer. It snows there in winter. Dnce is an important culture in Ukraine. Many people in Ukraine dance Ukrainian National dance from early childhood. Mariya used to dance until 13 years old. Of course she loves dancing. Mariya and her family believe Orthodox Christian. I haven't heard about that religion before. Mariya told me, it is an eastern orthodox church has autonomuy in Ukraine. Family & Experience
Mariya is the only children in her family. She is really close to her family. On the weekend, Mariya likes to go to the movies and different places with friends and family. She moved from one city, Donetsk, to another city, Kiev, which is the capital of Ukraine.

Future Plan
Mariya would like to go to a university in California, US and she wants to be a filmmaker. For her sparetime life, she plans to travel a lot and live in California.
